Lapis lazuli has been worn (and valued) for millennia, at least as far back as the ancient Egyptians. In this lapis bracelet, I've combined deep cobalt blue lapis with "denim", or lighter blue, lapis lazuli. Finishing the handmade lapis bracelet is a little brass box clasp, set with a lapis cabochon. I've added a dangle near the clasp that incorporates both shades of lapis blue. Tiny brass beads and 22k gold vermeil (22k gold over sterling silver) spacer beads add touches of gold to echo the golden flecks in the gemstones.
